My husband and I like to take a break for lunch on Saturdays, and our favorite is Kohnami Japanese Restaurant. This past weekend, hubby got adventurous and tried the clam sushi. I am always fascinated at how beautifully Japanese food is presented - the colors and contrast of this dish are beautiful!

Mom Chaparro has a beautiful tree near the front entrance, and it exploded into bloom the other day. I can't wait til the broomstick plants start to blossom - their fragrance is heavenly!
